We stress the peculiarity of an investigation that has linked in a scientific archaeological excavations and architectural structures.

The work has yielded unexpected results on the consistency of the archaeological deposit, offering an overview of time ranging roughly from the seventh to the seventeenth century. Almost 1000 years of history which is a fairly rare element when referring a rural setting away from major urban centers.
